Wheeler High School
The Reflections Arts Program is PTA’s national arts recognition and achievement program for students. It offers students the opportunity to earn local, state and even national recognition for original artwork they create in response to a specific theme. Since 1969, over 10 million students across the nation have taken part in this popular PTA program.
The theme for PTA’s 2016-17 Reflections Program is “What is your story?" The deadline for entries is October 10, 2016. There are six categories in which students can display their creative talents:
Wheeler first and second place winners for each category and each grade then advance to the ECCC PTA level of the competition and are judged against submissions from Kell, Lassiter, Pope, Sprayberry and Walton students. Finalists chosen from the ECCC level move on to the Georgia PTA level and have their artwork put on display at the High Museum of Art!
Students should carefully review the rules. Each entry MUST be accompanied by a completed Student Entry Form (2 pages) with the required signatures and, if needed, a Consent Form. Please see the links below for more information.

Special Artists, as defined by PTA in the Special Artist Rules, may also participate in all categories. These entries must be accompanied by the Special Artist Entry Form (Be sure to check the box for special artist entry). Please submit the work to the basket labeled "Reflections" in the front office along with the entry form.
This is a great opportunity for Wheeler students to unleash their inner creativity and to tell us what is your story?
