It is very important to the Wheeler PTSA that all voters have as much information as possible about candidates. Although we were not able to have the candidate forum originally planned, we sent a list of questions to each candidate and asked them to respond. Here are their answers.

Are you registered to vote? If not, now is the time! Listed below are the requirements for registering to vote; this is particularly important for our students. If you will be 18 bu the November 8th election, you can register now. 

  • Be a US citizen
  • Be a resident of the county in which you're registering to vote
  • Be at least 17 ½ years old to register and 18 years old to vote
  • Not be serving a sentence (including probation or parole) for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
  • Not have been found mentally incompetent by a judge

Town Hall Meeting this Week to discuss State of District 2

The first town hall meeting this year will be 7 p.m.,Thursday, March 17 at the East Cobb Library. It is located at 4880 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta. It is an opportunity to discuss the state of the district.
